Retirement Anyone?

Some of you are over 50 -- so try out the 50 Plus Net

Hopefully you have done all your planning for retirement, but you never know what interesting  tips you might discover on the Retire Web Map.

Now is a great opportunity to travel and see some of the world you haven't seen before. Check out these sites.

"A little bit of heaven fell from out the sky one day"and the beautiful Emerald Isle was formed.

What a wonderful place to visit! Hear the sounds, enjoy the sights and tourist attractions, wander through the villages, catch up on the news and even check out why "Irish eyes are smiling"

We had a wonderful trip to Holland - anyone else interested in finding out about the wonderful beaches,  the things to see and things to do there.

Closer to home - there is a relatively unknown province just waiting to be discovered again. Newfoundland’s Western Area brings wonderful sights and sounds. (You might want to try this one in French, just to keep up your accent!) The Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism site give a wealth of information. The Centre for Newfoundland Studies, a division of the Memorial University of Newfoundland Libraries, endeavors to collect material pertaining to all aspects of life in Newfoundland and Labrador

You’re never too old to learn! You could try out the Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR) is an organization of mature adults who share a love of learning, and often learn while they travel.

But you can't spend all your time (or money) traveling ........

Retirement often brings about role changes and you might find yourself in a position of needing some re-training!

Check out The Tide ClothesLine®, the most comprehensive site on the web dedicated to keeping your clothes looking their best. Hang around a while and you'll find out everything your mother never told you about laundry and fabric care.

And, just how much do you know about housekeeping? "Hints from Heloise" is still a well proven source of household tips! The "I Hate Housework" site provides some fun tips to save you work and give you more time for the Internet, and for recreation.

And, by the way, what’s for supper? An All Recipes online cookbook has a recipe for every dish.

And if you still have time, sit back and relax and enjoy some of Canada’s famous art galleries and some of our Canadian artists on the Internet.
